When I think back of Christmas time growing up in England (UK), the number one song that comes to mind is “O Come All Ye Faithful.” That’s why I chose to make a quick arrangement of this and play it for the video post below.
Once I committed to playing the O Come All Ye Faithful Guitar Solo, I found a suitable drum groove to hold it together while adding other instruments. Once that was setup, I recorded 2 verses, but then felt like it was too short.
My solution was to use Mixcraft to create a MIDI file, then change the key of a copy of the original guitar part and the MIDI file. Once that was done I added orchestral instruments to the extra verse. Cool! It worked. I know I could make it better, but no time. Watch and listen to the results below.
